RSNA Educational Exhibit:  Department of Neuroradiology, Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, NY.  “Utility of Cerebral CT Angiography Beyond the Depiction of Aneurysm”:  DP Furman, MD; BN Delman, MD; JB Bederson, TP Naidich.  November 2001.

 

Summer Research Fellowship:  Department of Anesthesia and Pharmacology, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.  Supervised by William Armstead, MD.  Studied the effects of Nitric Oxide on the diameter of pial vessels in the fetal pig.  Performed experiments including complicated surgical preparation of specimens followed by data and CSF collection.  1995

 

Senior Independent Study Research Project:  Department of Biology, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.  Supervised by James Saunders, PhD.  Studied the effects of high decibel oscillations on the cochlear hair cells of the fetal chick.  Responsible for study design, surgical experiments and data analysis.  Work culminated in senior thesis and presentation.  September 1992-May 1993.
