Dr. Belmont earned his medical degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed an Internship at West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown, West Virgina and his Residency in Internal Medicine at University of Massachusetts Medical Center , Worcester, Massachusetts and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Maine Medical Center, Portland, Maine.

Dr. Belmont is currently on the active staff at St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, Dr. Belmont is a Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, Certified on council of Nuclear Cardiology and Nuclear Regulatory Commision License for Nuclear Cardiology Material License
