Dr. Peters earned his Medical Degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. He completed an Internship at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, West Islip, NY, followed by a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Peters also completed a Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Cornell University Medical College in New York, NY.

Currently on the active staff in the Department of Radiology at St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, Dr. Peters is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is a professional member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology, American Osteopathic College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America.
