Dr. Tyrell received his Medical Degree from NY College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. He completed an Internship at Frankford Hospital in Langhorne, PA followed by a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at MCP/Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA and Fellowship in Body Imaging at Medical College of Viriginia in Richmond, Virginia.

Currently on the active staff in the Department of Radiology at St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, Dr. Tyrell is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology. He is a professional member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America and Pennsylvania Radiological Society.
