Diagnostic Radiology Services

Our Diagnostic Radiologists provides services to a Level 1 University trauma center and hospital network consisting of multiple hospitals and outpatient imaging centers. The network utilizes a GE PACS system and voice recognition dictation technologies which have been in place since 2003.

The diagnostic equipment offers some of the latest technologies available such as dual energy subtraction which provides for improved conspicuity of chest pathology Image paste capabilities which provide anatomic detail of the entire spine or lower extremity presented on one image.

The fluoroscopy equipment has pulsed fluoro capability which is particularly useful in reducing the dose to pediatric patients.

Our Radiologists work in conjunction with registered technologists, pediatric and registered nurses and support staff to provide the best quality patient care at the lowest radiation dose possible (ALARA).
