Computerized Tomography

Our CT Department offers advanced technology, caring professional service and the outstanding diagnostic performance of some of the best trained radiologists anywhere. Our mission is to achieve the best possible diagnostic accuracy with the least possible radiation dose, and to that end our partner St. Luke’s has invested in the most cutting edge GE dose reduction software in the area. ASIR, or Adaptive Statistical Iterative Reconstruction, is a feature of every CT scanner in the network providing patients with 40 and sometimes 50 percent dose reduction for body imaging when compared to earlier scans. In addition, our mostly fellowship trained radiologists employ the most progressive CT protocols recommended by organizations such as the American College of Radiology, ImageWisely.Org, and ImageGently.Org.

We have the advantage of working with St. Luke’s excellent equipment and the advanced training of PPA radiologists allowing for a wide array of advanced CT services. In addition to standard imaging of the head, neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis, our CT scanners are routinely used in coronary CT Angiography, CT Colonography, CT Enterography, CT Brain Perfusion, 3D CT of Extremities, and other 21st century applications. Some examples of this powerful imaging can be seen on our website.
